If you don't have time for a full drawing as you've been doing try a contour drawing and leave it at that. I think this baby loo...Congrats on making one week! I think this baby looks fine. My suggestion (as I've had to learn) is to sketch very lightly the whole thing (outline) at the beginning. This will help you make sure the proportions are right too, though it seems you have no problem with that.
